Chad just wasn't sure he could voice his doubts. He was still trying to come to terms with the fact that there was a vampire in front of him. Reality shaken, he still felt a small amount of comfort when J-S drew him close. He was taller than J-S, more dominant in bed, so when he was suddenly being lifted over the brick wall, and carried as J-S ran through the city streets, Chad couldn't help feel a sense of irony.
At least Chad was calm, though. Another person might freak out and scream and throw things, but Chad was trying to take this all in stride. A sense of calm had sort of washed over him, even as he was taken through back-alleys and dead streets to J-S's apartment. The speed with reach they reached it was baffling, but Chad wasn't really processing time at that moment, anyway.
"I just…want to go to sleep," Chad said with an almost dreamy tone. Some part of him thought that if he went to sleep, he would wake up and none of this would have happened. It would all be like a bad drug trip, and he would just sleep it off and laugh about it in the morning.
