It wasn't a power play for the Chaldean or an assumption that a single kiss had changed the dynamic between them so that he could disregard her wishes. Mikino was simply accustomed to having reign over these particular matters and he had not been appointed to be indecisive. He was Judgment, but the position itself had always before been the Queen's Justice. If somehow Shayleiah did not secede him, it would likely go back to that title. So he waited out the moments where the Chaldean hesitated with a calm complacency, untroubled by her indecision. Had Sidonie commanded otherwise, she knew she would have been faced with protest, but ultimately he had never disobeyed and he was unlikely to start now over this.
Regardless, none of it would have driven him to anger. While Sidonie did have a certain knack for it, this was not a matter he held as closely to heart as she did. The Danaan had never wronged him personally and until an act of war was carried out, Mikino may even have been their best route to a tentative peace with the Sidhe.
He waited until the Chaldean turned to obey and lead them before throwing a careless wink Sidonie's way and gesturing for her to proceed before him.
