There was a great deal of wisdom in what he was saying, of course, but Eoin wasn't in the position where he could take it even if he was of the mind to reconsider his current goals. Joining the ranks of her suitors hadn't been his idea after all and he hadn't intended to make a true go of it, but he had met the queen and found himself rather taken with her and the idea of spending more time with her. Now he was determined, no matter how sensible Judgement's urging for him to bow out. He wasn't the sort to simply put his head down and barrel through everything thoughtlessly though, he would at least acknowledge the perhaps double sided kindness on Judgement's part and thank him for his own honesty.
"It is indeed an uphill battle, My Lord, one I hope to be victorious in no matter if I do or do not earn Her Majesty's affections. Thank you for your wise words, I will take then to heart," even if he wasn't going to give up it gave him a new angle to approach the whole affair if he so needed it. "And of course for your indulgence. I can't imagine Lord Mekhal or myself being what you had hoped for when Her Majesty started entertaining suitors, but please know that for my part I will do all I can so that I do not give you any further cause for concern in future."
He was going to need a stronger drink after this, if only to celebrate his survival. He bowed knowing it best that he leave soon so not to wear out his welcome. "If there is any other way that I might be of service to you, or to the Chaldean, please do not hesitate to call upon me, it would be a very great honor to serve you in any way."
