He had gained her attention and truthfully he hadn't intended to with that comment. But he's pleased, smiling for her as she moves closer, in anticipation of his story. He had almost had the pciture taken down and moved into his study, it's good he didn't he can't help but feel as his indecision was fate. "I do remember. Not so well, mind you, I was 5, just a boy. The adults had all made such a huge fuss about your birth, the arrival of a beautiful baby girl. Like I said I was a little boy and wanted to know what all the fuss was about. I demanded my mother take me to court with her instead of having me attend school that day and through much consternation, she finally acquiesced to my ultimatums. I remember it being much easier than usual, my mom was quite a stern woman when she needed to be." He smiles in fond remembrance before continuing with his story. "Well anyhow I was brought to court to see you and I remember," He laughs, "That when I saw you I asked my mom what the big deal was, and what that smell was. She was so angry at me, she bopped me on the back of my head and told me to go forward and pay my respects to you or I'd be in the scullery for a week. I walked forward and looked into your cradle, barely able to see over the side, and under watchful eyes peered down on you and you smiled. My mom told me it was the cutest smile she'd ever seen on a baby and she told me when I turned around my face was scrunched up fiercely. If I remember, I was the talk of parties for the next two days."He shakes his head at the memory, slightly embarrassed.
When she takes his arm her smiles at her touch and begind to walk out the way she had come, away from the open door to his study and the cool air blowing inside. "You've already seen my capital. So I'd like to show you something amazing. I want to show you the end of the world, the ice on the rivers, and the snow on the plains. I want you to see the whole realm my beautiful Queen. So you can see the hold of the Snow Fae for yourself, to see what we are and what we've accomplished."
