"Well my father, the late Lord Percival Mekhal did spend time beyond the veil. He had a million stories to tell of old Kings and Queens, Revolutions, and weddings. He brought the game back and had quite the advantage over his subjects for some time. He was a true master of the horse and...as he claimed, Dragons. But no one believed those stories." That's chuckleworthy as Fredric thinks of the fond memories of himself and his father out on a hunt, or at the Fortress on the edge of the Wilds.
Fredric has had a hard time taking his eyes off of her as well, drinking in her gaze and her subtle movements, he grinned as she asked more about him.
"Well I do alot of things, now that I have much more free time since I've resigned my active commission and returned home to manage the Family. Fun....well, I am fond of theater and have been patron to multiple acting troupes. I enjoy sporting games, tests of strength and skill, archery, wing racing, swimming. I was always thought a strange kind, swimmer, my father would say, and then just laugh and shake his head. Like yourself I enjoy useful books, reading about the old times long ago. How it may relate to our modern day problems. I can say, with all assurance that those things pale in comparison to my enjoyment of a good talk thought."
