Lux paused at the sound of is name, slowly lowering the poker before dropping it to the floor. It wasn't the sight of the man that reminded him of who it was, but the sound of his voice. That voice had always been in his head, a familiar sound he heard in his dreams from time to time.
"Xav...XAV!" Lux shouted, nearly diving across the kitchen as he latched onto his brother with both arms tightly, squeezing him as much as he could. He was about as physical as he was adept at protecting his house.
"Xav, I didn't think you'd ever come home and you did and you need to call me Lux, no one calls me Lucius unless I'm in trouble and...and you're BACK!" he babbled excitedly, giving him another tight hug. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming back? Do Mom and Dad know?"
