Misu sat a table having order dessert for dinner. The looks she might receive when she had ordered two, or wait was it three, different types of dessert to consume as a full meal left her unphased. It was likely they were wondering how she was not the size of a blimp when she ordered things like that. Misu didn't care for the judgement one bit. She had her glass of water and her sweet drink to satisfy her needs as she sat at the table. The water was not for drinking, which would be likely to draw a few stares her way. By now one would expect people to be accustomed to Misu's strange quirks. After all she only went to a max of four different restaurants here. Picked simply on their deliciousness of their desserts. After a few not so tasty, or lesser standard, she decided to avoid those establishments. Misu didn't care what others thought though, as she did things to please herself.
Looking at the cup she dripped her fingers into the water and lifted them to watch the water drip from her slender fingers. She stretched them wider noticing the slight webbed appearance and then let her finger tips glide over the surface of the water in the cup. How she missed fresh water, the water of Finland. The water of the bay was just not as nice, sometimes too salty for her liking. Misu often wondered if she could import enough water from her home to fill a tub and let herself get in and experience it. But it wasn't the same. Longing, she would have to put up with it.
Closing her eyes she swirled a couple fingers in the glass of water as she leaned down and took a long sip from the sweet drink. Sugar overload for some, but delicious luxury for her. A smile inched across her lips as she pulled back from the straw letting it free from the grip of her lips. When her food got here she would be all the more closer to a heaven. She was pretty sure that was how the saying went.
The clearing of a throat caused her to open her eyes, but not remove her fingers from the glass of water. "Oh sorry," she said almost nearing a meek tone. Her accent ringing noticeably. "Thank you." Misu said as the pudding, cake, and another cake was put down in front of her. The ice cream served on two plates looked amazing as it slowly started to melt. The chocolate that overwhelmed the table before her made her mouth water. Perfect dinner! At least for Misu. "Nope, I don't need anything else." She answered the waitress as she finally pulled her hand from the glass and picked up a fork. Which to start with first? Oh the choices. She hated choices like this. She went for the moist chocolate cake in front of her. She got a bit of the cool ice cream on the fork before placing it into her mouth. PERFECTION.
