Lux wanted to go, he wanted to turn and run all the way home until he was in front of his mother and father, explaining to them what had happened so they could think of a way to tell him it was all alright. He needed someone else to process this, because right now it was more than he could seem to handle. Something was going on, something was happening in this calm, lovely park, but he couldn't see it. He could just feel it deep in his bones.
"...whatever you're doing, whatever's going on...if I did it, I'm sorry!" Lux said to both of them before the boy began to hurry away from them and whatever else is there, calling back over his shoulder. "I'm sorry I cant help, I'll just make it worse!"
He felt small and weak leaving like this, but if he didn't, he didn't know how much longer he could hold back without causing a scene somehow. He didn't want that, he only wanted peace, but it didn't seem that was possible for him to help with. Rounding the corner away from the other two, he began to run clumsily towards his house. So much for a relaxing evening, he felt like his heart was going to explode.
