With another heavy sigh he called upon the appropriate spell, the air around his right hand faintly glowing light blue. Using magic was always a sort of catch 22 for him. The body he had taken had no innate magical abilities or affinities so to project it out it took a great deal of energy, but if he wanted to conserve his energy and abandon the body in order to cast he ran into the trouble of having no physical form to direct anything that required direction. The only way to fix it would have been to find himself the body of a witch but he was far too happy with his new home to abandon it just for easier spell-casting. For someone more interested in alchemy it wouldn't be that big of an improvement.
Once the orb of light had fully formed around his hand he shot it out, it flying to pierce the golem through the middle then dissipate into the air once it was through the other side. It didn't seem to do anything at first, but then there was a loud 'pop' and the creature lost its cohesion, its parts breaking apart and harmlessly falling to the ground. That wouldn't be the end of it though, he knew that even as the place seemed to calm again. It was clearly a creature constructed from her emotional response to him, if she didn't see him go now she would remain upset and the creature would pull itself back together.
"I'm going, you can calm yourself." he said to her, taking a step back away from the boy. Instead of continuing to back away he simply focused his ability to project an image around himself of nothing, cloaking himself in apparent invisibility at least to her eyes, once again not as easy as it could have been for him with his fleshy body.
