Tristan and Kaylee Saturday, bright and early It's a...date? Hopefully Tris will end up crying!
It was early. Like, still dark outside early. But Kaylee was there as promised when Tristan arrived, bundled in a light grey jacket and another pair of those yoga pants he was such a fan of, complete with a ridiculous little headband in pink plaid, hair pulled back snugly in a high ponytail. And, as an added bonus, she was warming up with crossover stretches. Kip straighened as he approached. She wore a smile, which more than made up for a complete lack of makeup. "You made it. That's like, the first step. Should all be easy from there, right?"
She was a regular on the weekends at this park. It was a favorite of hers because it incorporated plenty of bridges and ponds where people could feed ducks. No one was out doing that at this hour. No one in their right mind was out at all at this hour. It had even been a close call for Kaylee. Her pillow had made a pretty compelling argument, but she wasn't going to stand up someone she had just met. Even if his demeanor did kind of beg for it. This was one of those areas where she could get cocky. Running had always been her thing, and little mister perfect at everything hated it. Andrew hadn't been able to keep up with her since she was fifteen.
This one wasn't a race, but hopefully Tristan had come with some stamina.
