About the Game

Birthright is an original, supernatural/horror genre roleplaying game set in present day Clark County, Nevada. The area is the site of an ancient battle between mystical entities, which left an energy spring not connected to any known ley line. Over the centuries, it attracted supernatural beings and magic users, but it was remote and inhospitable until modern technology made things like railroads, electricity, and highways possible. The county has drawn its fair share of ‘food’, as well, thanks to the gold rush and, later, tourism. The supernatural have managed to keep their presence under wraps.

The entrance to Lux was uncommonly different to its normal nondescript self. Instead of blending into the surroundings it was bedecked with greenery, the flush of new growth that had lost the pale brilliance of first flush and was instead reaching the fullness of spring's flight, strengthened by the fire of the approaching summer's sun. And inside there were chalices that carried fire, a cleansing welcoming flame ( that lit the beginning of the passageway )
