Brian's observation was probably more on the money than he knew. Shimmer's constantly youthful energy probably aligned her closer to the mindset of a teenager than the grown woman her guise depicted her as. Before she could give a straight answer, however, Derek's more alarming description had Shimmer nodding quickly, trying to make sure something obscured her face. A bottle or three would do, which she was hastily trying to arrange.
"Thank you," she spoke, oddly normal in her grateful receiving of the water. Although, not so normally, after drinking from it, she chose to dip a couple of fingers into the contents and kept them there with a relaxing, "Ahhh..." It helped her energies align.
"Yah, that guy's weird, don't trust him," she reassured with narrowed eyes. Eyes which, suddenly animated as she turned to the newcomer and introduced herself with an outstretched hand. "I'm Shimmer! And this my noble steed: The wise and powerful Derek. Master of justice and peacekeeper of the realms of Nevada!"
And she made a smiling stage-whisper to Derek; "See, ya' just gotta' sell it...!"
