The strange boom had made Cian stand, beer in hand, and acutely aware of Siofra's sudden alertness. From where he was on the patio it was only a few strides to see around the corner and toward the town. There was nothing to be seen other than what looked like some dust kicking up, and while he wasn't sure what he'd expected, it had been more than that. He took a swig from the beer in his hand as he watched the dust approach. Despite the urge to roll his shoulders he instead shrugged, and pulled out his phone to send a text to Rhiannon. He made his way inside the main bar rather than dealing with the soon-to-be-dusty air outside.
Finishing up the text, How's it going? Bit of dust kicking up, hope you don't get caught in it. he pressed send and lifted his beer to drain the last of the contents. As he lowered the bottle he saw an unfamiliar woman stop in the entrance to the bar, and felt that sensation he'd first come in touch with on the northern of the town's limits. "Rhiannon? How clandestine was this meeting?" he muttered, then saw the hunter step out from behind the stationary female, apparently displeased with her.
A smile curved the corner of his mouth and he started to slowly make his way to the bar to order them both a drink.
