"Ow!" Rhiannon peeled a piece of Katherine's hair out of her eye. "I'm standing right behind you."
A beat passed before the vampire started to move again. The hunter clapped a hand on her back, urging her through the entryway and into the main room. "What are you, waiting for your entrance music to start? Who walks this slow?" She shook her head in irritation.
It was mostly at Katherine for intercepting her exchange, but Rhiannon reserved some for herself for fumbling the mystical football and now having to answer for whatever was going on outside: wind, dust, an otherworldly quiet, and a mild buzz. Things were definitely not okay. Neither were they bad enough to diagnose.
