Annie made her way to the bar, feeling oddly aware of the difference in shape of the very male body she was piloting through the crowd. The room was awash in famous faces interspersed with people that didn't ring any bells of recognition. So far as she could tell, though, she was the only one walking around in the shades of grey endemic to the era of black and white television.
She ordered a beer, giving a mental chuckle at thought of asking for bathtub gin instead, and downed half of it in one go. She thought she had needed it before, but she really needed it now. It was only after she had taken a drink that she noticed the face of a legend standing beside her. It still came as a bit of a shock, even as she had begun to accept her own change in figure.
"Nice... uh... costume?" she offered by way of greeting.
