The hunter retracted her sword and kicked the side of an animal to keep it from tipping on top of her. As she stumbled back, she heard voices. Gabe seemed to be trying to corral them all closer. She took a few steps away from a beast and used herself as a walking piece of bait to lead it toward the area of the gas tanks, arching her back to evade a snap of sharp jaws. Rhiannon kept going, taking a quick glance over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't about to stumble into a pile of festering animal parts. When she thought she was close enough, she circled round and backed behind the line of gas cylinders.
