Cian nodded, and looked at Rhiannon. "I'm going to head toward the cage," he told her, "Siofra will be helping Gabe, join us when you're ready." He leaned in quickly, lips brushing past her ear, "love you, see you soon," and straightened, looking across at Mikey and Abby. He was already stripping off his shirt as he called out to the two of them. "Time to go, Gabe could use our help," and after shedding the rest of his clothes, and with a roll of his shoulders he dropped down onto his hands, and within a few breaths had shifted.
Golden eyes were now watching the approaching creatures, Siofra's teeth baring in a snarl before the large, sleek cougar bounded across the open space toward where the wizard was now standing on top of the structure. A number of the gas cylinders had been moved and were now forming an arc in front of the cage, their nozzles all turned toward the advancing beasts.
The brightness of the lights on top of the workshop caused a shadow where the wizard was standing, casting an almost blinding light directly across the car park, and into the eyes of the beasts Siofra bounded over the tanks and up onto the top next to the wizard. Gabe's hand reached down and stroked along the length of the big cat's back as he muttered under his breath.
