"Holy crap!" Cian muttered, blinking for a brief moment.
Well that answered a lot of the questions he'd had from the moment he'd stepped back onboard. "The aos sí," he murmured very softly, a little in awe, then adding, "fae folk, I think," for Rhiannon's benefit, before continuing, his voice back at conversational level.
"No, I didn't see you just transform into a bright light, and then back again, because that just, well, wouldn't happen, would it?" He chuckled softly.
He remembered Annie talking about 'lights', and the 'fae folk' but this wasn't what he'd imagined she meant. He did remember her talking of them being possessive and demanding which certainly fit here. And it did explain just how she managed to be aboard with no assistance, or dampness. Though he was surprised to come across one here, on the water, as he thought he remembered something about them not liking water. Perhaps that was just the ones in Ireland.
