Roman smirked at the return of question posed as a challenge. The first inquiry gave her the power to pick and choose what information she divulged, especially considering women (in his experience) weren’t always keen on a peppering of questions from men. But she seemed alright with the soft barrage and being a lawyer he was used to asking questions of people, analyzing their answers.
