The switch to his family name felt odd, but he shrugged it off. He'd been called it all through school, almost as an honorific by the lecturers who knew of his family and the bloodlines, and by fellow crew when he worked the decks learning the family's business 'on the ropes'.
"Parakaló," he found himself answering automatically, then repeated, "You're welcome."
