"I don't need to beat myself up," Tasha pointed out. "I have plenty of candidates lining up to do the job for me." She repressed a laugh, figuring it would be rude to do so. The hunter had been falling down drunk enough in her life to know that sometimes expressing oneself in an articulate matter was a challenge, to put it lightly. She did, however, snort and shake her head at the vampire's request.
"I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. Least of all you. Although..." Tasha paused, looking around in case someone she knew might be listening before leaning in closer. "Okay, one time I was chasing a vampire and I tripped and jabbed myself with my own stake. And he actually stopped to make fun of me."
