That didn't sound half-bad. He looked down at his beer and wondered if he should expand outside his comfort zone, though for once he wasn't looking to numb anything. Not yet, anyway. At the mention of the gnomes, he shrugged nonchalantly. "It wasn't that bad. I think we got off pretty light in the scheme of things. Nothing got set on fire." He looked up at James, his profile illuminated by the fire pit and some artfully hung string lights. "You think someone might have done it on purpose?" the medium asked curiously. There was something else Flynn wanted to ask James about, and he lowered his voice a measure before voice a measure before doing so.
"I had a visit from Elfleda," he told the other man. "I feel like I'm part of a club now. Do we get punch cards?"
