Re: Derek, Nesryn, Marsh and Open
"Hey, Marsh," Derek called out to the bartender and raised his half-full beer in salute. He had known the other man in passing just by virtue of being a resident of the tiny town and visiting Lucky's semi-regularly, but now that his friend was dating him, he had made more of an effort to be friendly with the psychic. He wasn't really worried about Marsh getting into his head, not just because he had promised to not, but because his thoughts were such an odd, tangled web of randomness, he couldn't imagine it being a very hospitable environment for a telepath. Especially when he started thinking about weird things like why did the Ninja Turtles wear eye masks? How many talking six foot tall turtles roamed the streets that disguising their identity was in anyway useful? The vampire shook his head slightly and brought his attention back to the present.
"Yeah, it's pretty good," he answered, looking sideways at Nesryn. "I can't speak for everyone, and I don't want to jinx it, but I think this will be the best Drinksgiving ever."
