Re: Side Room Thread - Ellie & Open
It was Noah's first time celebrating Thanksgiving. According to the random bits of pop culture he had consumed over the years, the holiday was a time for large family gatherings full of comical misunderstandings and, sometimes, a family member bringing a new boyfriend or girlfriend who wouldn't fit in at first but by the time the credits rolled, was accepted into the fold. At least this wasn't that. He had been standing with a plate of turkey sliders, watching various patrons try their hand at the mechanical bull with a curious expression, when he recognized a girl from the diner the morning after Samhain who had also been part of the Highway 95 debacle. The pyrokinetic approached her casually.
"You like holiday themed clothing," Noah commented, gesturing to her turkey sweater. "I saw you at the Majestic. Oh, and when you tossed a van at an ogre. That was cool." He nodded and took a bite of a slider.
