Re: Radek, John, and Open
"Indeed!" Radek agreed, lifting his glass to clink it against John's before taking a sip.
And then he frowned, with no little confusion.
"Or not! With no clear eye for their target, nor edge on their blade!" he then added, having realised, that despite his having studied his immortality for so many centuries, he really had no yearning to actually die, at least not yet. There was still so much he wanted to learn! He'd only just started piecing together the mysterious 'man' delivered to him by a vampiress, who was another of equal fascination to him, being an example of who he'd mentioned earlier - those who walk still without a beating heart.
"Because no, I don't want to actually reach that horizon right now. Happy to keep shuffling on this mortal coil for a while longer," he rambled, the glass in his hand again empty, and again being easily replaced.
Just like in death, the immortal had found his constitution had remarkable recovery powers, but still just like in death he did suffer from the regular everyday maladies of over-imbibing, be it in rich foods, or strong alcoholic beverages, it's just that his recovery period was shorter, and the aftermath of a hangover had never been one he'd born brunt of. Though right now he was certainly feeling the affects of the alcoholic beverages, and enjoying the buzz that accompanied such consumption.
"I don't have a death wish, despite my earlier years perhaps causing one to believe differently." He looked at John. "Do you? Have a death wish?" he asked.
