Rhiannon blinked heavily. A voice like his could make her feel drunk, especially at close range. She allowed herself time to enjoy the simplicity of being arm-in-arm with her lover, no broken skin or bones, no history looming over them other than what they invited. She had to admit it felt good to be out of their familiar spaces.
"So what do you think?" She tipped her face toward the starry sky and worked to identify the constellations, which didn't easily identify themselves as being those of the northern hemisphere in the springtime. "I know it's not where you're from, but will it do for tonight?"
