"Ahhh, literature!" His first love, closely followed by philosophy, and then theology, the latter being the cause of his first death. "The recordings of the mind's fruits," he again mused. "I recall days when it was different to record ones thoughts in written form," he continued, managing to remember to be careful with his revelations, not far enough into his cups yet to lose that centuries old necessity for survival. "It was a skill held by so few, and not all those who held it were worthy of it. And there were those who had the way with words that were lost in the breezes that should have been carved in stone for all time to enjoy!" He stared into his drink for a moment.
"Today it is so easy to just write anything, and with a click of a key erase it and start again." He looked at John and asked, "do you prefer a keyboard, or pen?"
