Re: Radek, John, and Open
"An ever-evolving mass of life," Radek mused with a chuckle, his train of thought quickly and comfortably running parallel with John's. "And I have to agree, the study of psychology is something that is very badly taught, it's a skill that doesn't suit the style of education most commonly used in the hallowed halls of learning, following statistics, learning that it is all subjective only to then be examined in an objective manner." He lifted his glass to indicate the gathering.
"While statistics can give us numbers of potentials for certain groupings, it will never be able to take into account the individual influences each of those lives has incurred. You think you have answers, and just as you start to make decisions on those, the groups break apart under another school of thought, and they reform, differently, and you are back to square one!"
For some reason Radek felt that his new drinking companion might be able to make sense of his somewhat convoluted journey through the schools of psychology. He stopped, took another sip of his drink and shrugged lightly. "Me too."
