Marsh and Nobu and OPEN
Nobu listened with interest while Marsh gave the cookie cutter explanation of the holiday's origin. What he described mimicked the summaries he had read but there was obviously more to the story. At least one article he found touched on it but he didn't read the whole thing; he'd have to see if he could find it again.
"Not like that, no. As far as I know." With plate near overflowing, he scoped out a place for the two to sit. "We do spend time with family on some holidays though. ShÅgatsu - New Year - is a big one. Obon as well. That one commemorates our ancestors. Really, there are a lot of days families gather."
Table found, Nobu lead the way over and took a seat. "I like holidays. Any cause for celebration is good in my book!"
