...alright alright, it's a tad late. I have lots of really good excuses, most of which I've posted in my previous journal.


Okay, and it's not what she asked for, but it went something like this:

ME: Okay, so Cobalt, you put your foot on Jade and wrap the leash around your hand... Jade, stop looking like you're enjoying this so much. Okay, now move your hand a little, no, wait. Okay this pose isn't working. Alright, let's try with Jade in the cowboy suit, and Cobalt, you-
COBALT: Sod this. Am I getting paid? I don't think so.
*Cobalt walks off*
ME:Okay, so Jade, you take the hat off, right, and -no, wait, you're supposed to look happy now, not the puppy dog eyes, no, I'm sure Cobalt will be back soon, no no no come back!
*Jade follows Cobalt*
*Is miserable, so starts a sketch to cheer self up*
ME: Hey, this is working pretty well!

So yeah. We have Jasper sunbathing, in all his glory. Merry Christmas!

laylah wrote some marvelous Bijou cyberpunk AU, and also put the idea for cyberpunk-AU Peridot being rebooted in my head. This is what came out of that. Many thanks to laylah for letting me borrow her characters and her AU!

1) Mercenaries: There is a reason I don't usually draw manly men; also known as oh god I don't ever want to draw that much leather again. And, Wow, there's so much wrong with this piece. I almost didn't post it. ( Fox and Hound )

2)Jasper: Laylah mentioned wanting the boys in elaborate costumes. That's totally my justification for these next two, and they have nothing whatsoever to do with finishing the above piece and really wanting to draw boys in makeup. Also, somehow I got it into my head that jasper didn't grow out his hair until he came to the bijou, which is- on looking again- not in fact the case. Um. I suck? ( Elaborate Costuming, Take 1 )

3)Jet:I, uh. I have no justification for the visual lit-reference here. I just am a dork and couldn't help myself. I like this one best of the three. ( Elaborate Costuming, take 2 )

So after a discussion about Moulin Rouge meets Bijou these happened...

Taking inspiration from Toulouse Lautrec's printed posters I decided to leave the colour flat (and it's definitely not because this is where my colouring skills end ^^;).

So not quite as early as I would have liked to put this up, but here it is anyway! This is a Christmas gift fic for laylah because she gives us pron writes awesome fic. It's an AU set in the Elizabethan period starring Jasper and Cobalt. Cobalt is not especially happy, but Jasper's always wanted to be a pirate so he's pleased enough for both of them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, laylah!!!!! I'm a little early, but I had to sneak this in while I was home for a day from the beach.

It's, uh, the traditional jr high school AU of the Bijou. which is to say, a random crossover between the Bijou and Aim for the Sky! and probably will only entertain you and me, but there is porn!~ because you are awesome and of the hot and answer all my stupid KH questions and write me TACHIKI OF THE GODS.

Rating/Warnings: NC-17 for boysex and improper use of griptape (wait, that was one of my themes...)
Summary: Onyx's stamina needs work and Jasper is basically helping out not at all.
AN: Bijou/Aim for the Sky! crossover (the sheer ridiculousness of that is your real present, I think, laylah), the only thing that might be relevant is that the senpai/kouhai relationships are in terms of the order they joined the Bijou, not ages. Er, I think.
