The revolving door continues. This is Ash's fault although I'd been playing around with the idea of Ziggy Karst here returning for a while now. So, here she is, now 24 and looking like Victoria Pedretti instead of Daveigh Chase.
A quick refresher: Ziggy's a super genius even without her powers. They add to that, though, giving her a form of 'intuitive genius/intuition' that's the opposite of Forge's—Ziggy's allows her to tell how something works in minute detail once she touches it. She also has a swarm of nanite particles that orbit her at all times, she controls mentally, and use them as she sees fit. They're malleable, and thus she can make constructs out of various materials from them. Cool! Ziggy came to Xavier's by way of the Department of Defense, and she defected to the school at 16 and promptly began working at R&D under Dr. Rost, and subsequently Dr. Holland. Ziggy left Xavier's in 2019 after her baby sister, Jane, returned from the temporal bubble created by Kiden Nixon during the Kick mutant attack. She felt she needed to actually take care of and be with her family, something she'd never been great at, and moved to... Florida. Which is where she and her family are from, not because she has any fondness for Florida (she hates Florida). Anyway, she founded her own R&D/Tech firm Karst Technologic Inc. in Miami when she was 20, and anyone in the industry may have heard about it (or you can have heard about it anyway because people here would know she's an alumna).
She's back at Xavier's now, though! She accepted the position of Head of R&D since it's been vacant for a little while, she realizes the most good she can do with the growing worldwide problems may just be at the school that's been at the hub of everything important, and of course maybe Cal let slip about Forge which tipped the scales enough. She's never met another mutant whose powers are as similar to hers. Anyway, her personality is pretty much as it was before including mischievous, though she's more mature and professional now. Not entirely of course, but you know, tech CEO and now R&D Head plus being faculty for the school.
