GUESS WHO'S BACK? (in my Eminem voice) What's up, guys? It's Tre 🥁🥁🥁 and I'm returning with Sofia Mantega also known as Wind Dancer. She's 16-years-old, and coming in as a new student in her junior year. I've been recently getting into Sofia in the comics after her reintroduction in X-Corp and her being put to use as a Marauder, and I can't wait to play my version out here.
Her Evo-history pretty much mirrors her comicbook counterpart. Sofia grew up in Venezuela, manifested her aerokinetic abilities a few years ago, and had to move to Colorado with her father a year ago after her mother was shot and killed. She'll arrive at Xavier's after security video went viral of her tearing one of her dad's grocery stores tf up with her powers. Sorry, not sorry, Pops. Basically, he's now forever pissed off.
Sofia will be enthusiastic about enrolling at the school. She's excited about making friends with MUTANTS, like srsly, probably more than normal. She's been a HUGE FAN of the X-Men.
STORYLINES me, pls! She'll need one of the X-peeps to bail her out of jail in Denver and bring her back to the mansion. Would love for that line to flourish into a mentor-mentee relationship as she'll want to train to hopefully join the teams one day. FRIENDS OF ALL TYPES, PLS! Student Council members? Someone who she sees the good in despite probably being bad news? Someone who also wants to be on the X-teams who she bonds with, maybe, over training? Any dancers? Would love something with any New X-Men characters, too.
