Some details on what everyone can expect from the portal spell over the next week! Which started yesterday, but IJ is being difficult this week.

• It's a fairly short ritual that needs to be repeated without stopping until it starts to work. OOCly, we know that the big plot is starting on Thursday, but ICly everyone just knows that the spell will take several days and it'll be obvious when it works.
  
  
• Because the spell needs to be done continuously, groups of spellcasters will rotate in and out. There will always be at least one magic user in the group doing the spell. Sapna, Yana and Ananym will get it started, but Eva and Daimon are also being tapped for it. (Violet doesn't count anymore, ty power fluctuations).
  
  
• Any non magic users can lend their energy! Non magic users can tag in and out as they start getting tired, and around whatever else they need to be doing. For the magic users this week is going to be a marathon, but everyone else can just help out as they can.
  
  
• Team members are on alert for the spell to work and start reopening portals. When that happens, R&D will shut off the device keeping the portals closed. Anyone not from this world will feel a strong pull toward the portal that will take them home, but they can choose not to go through it. (The same is true of creatures like the tentacle monsters -- they'll feel drawn to their home portal, but they can go into other dimensions to cause trouble instead if they want to, so of course some of them will).
  
  
• The school doesn't know it, but the portal spell and the spell to raise the Phoenix are on course to complete at the same time! Mystical~ So the portal situation will be longer and crazier than expected, sorry everyone.
  
  
• The magic users will have to keep the spell going until everyone is back where they belong (or is voluntarily not going back), and then finish it to close the portals permanently and stop all the weirdness. The Phoenix's arrival will make this harder than they're expecting!

Feel free to throw your non-team members (and anyone benched) into the spell, or into the big fight, or both! There'll be plenty of opportunities for mayhem. If you're planning on bringing back a portaled character or sending a portal arrival back home, this will be your last chance!
