JACK. (Monday)
It was a pretty beautiful fall morning, and Sapna was doing what she normally did when the weather was nice: miss a morning class or two in favor of spending time outside or alone. Given her powers and the ability to learn literally with a touch of her fingertips against a textbook it didn't really mean anything that she wasn't in class, she learned that much quicker and kept it all in her mind anyway. That gave her a little more free reign, and really, would anyone blame her for taking some time away from more trivial pursuits when she'd worked so hard to translate the Limbo tome, and still poured in time to find and decipher the rest of the prophecy, something that still tugged on her. But, she'd also learned to take some time to herself, too, to relax. So here she was, outside the building, and rounding the side to head out to the forest when her nostril's caught the scent of a cigarette. Really, she knew better of course, smoking was 'bad', but she'd always been one of those people who had really enjoyed the smell of a lit cigarette.
When she saw the source, a woman about her age wearing combat boots, eye shadow, definitely not afraid of being bold with her style and that made Sapna smile even if she was dressed a little more regularly, but with that air of confidence about her she usually had. Someone new, anyone, she hadn't seen them around before so she raised a hand in a wave and greeted the other woman.
And that's when Boogers, hot on her heels, rounded the corner of the building and playfully bounded up to sit at her side. "I'm Sapna, and this is Boogers," she greeted, crouching a bit to pat the demon on the head like a puppy. "He's harmless." Well, mostly, and that little smile on Sapna's face was probably telling enough. "He likes you though!" As if this was all totally normal and a dog, and not a little demon.
