They were inside. Finally, after the last two years, they had gotten a way in. Prior to this, Trista had been seriously considering getting herself caught just so that she could instead try and plan an escape from inside. She knew it was crazy, but well. She was pretty ready to try crazy at this point. But then these people had shown up, speaking Kurt's language and demanding to know who they were. The language though, that made her pause, and instead of leading the others into an attack, she actually listened for a minute.
So this was the old ruler of Limbo, then. She knew like everyone else that the previous ruler had lost power somehow, and everyone knew when the next demon had set up shop. She personally liked the previous management much better. So they'd agreed to back them, although Trista had made the deal on the condition that she would be able to get to the dungeons first and foremost.
Here she was now, with the sounds of fighting echoing above and things shaking the foundations. She honestly didn't have much hope that these people would be able to take back the castle, but she just needed them to be a distraction long enough for her to grab Kurt, signal to the others to get out, and be on their merry way. She couldn't very well shout for him though, not without knowing what might be around here keeping everyone in their cells. So she snuck along, looking in this cell and that, until she saw a familiar blue form. She let out a sigh of relief. "Kurt." It was whispered sharply from the shadows one wall was casting. "How many guards are there?" She needed to get one to grab its keys -- or, more correctly, to get the demon to use the keys itself to personally let Kurt out.
