This had certainly seemed inevitable. Not the Wolfsbane - Lupo grudge match for Alpha dominance, but the whole wolf thing going to shit. Had they lived anyone else it would have probably been nothing, but this was Xavier's so of course something ridiculous was brewing. It'd been growing for a week and this was the hammer falling so to speak. So no, Emerson wasn't surprised when Mimic's message had him scrambling to respond to a fight between two lupine-like mutants with a hoard (or something, he wasn't quite clear as to the extent) of wolves rampaging down on the school. First things first was Lupo and Wolfsbane because they'd actually tear each other to shreds if left to their own devices.
By the time he'd burst through the main doors he was shifting, growing larger, dropping down to all fours. When the transformation was complete he was bounding foward as a large drake -- larger by double or triple than his opponents -- while still remaining agile enough. Knowing his opponents at least fairly well his scaled hide was thick, hard, and durable, well suited for fighting against wolves with fangs and claws. Spikes adorned his tail and back to ward off some of the smaller, quicker wolves from jumped on his back where he couldn't reach.
As he bounded towards the combatants he let out a deep, guttural reptilian roar to signal his arrival, to turn their attention from each other and hopefully ward them off altogether.
