She nodded, albeit slowly. "I do," she said, pushing a bit of hair back from her face. "Mostly. Because you know I don't believe you could ever hurt me, aye? So whatever may be going on up there, I'm not quite sure it matters between the two of us. I'm going to help you get through it and you're going to be perfectly fine."
Dora reached up to brush her fingers across his face. She smiled as her fingers trailed across a bit of stubble against his cheek. "Neither of us are getting any younger. I guess I'm anxious?" She canted her head slightly. "I'd like to be able to call you my husband. Maybe have someone calling you 'daddy' eventually. Just maybe, you know."
