Nodding, Remus agreed with Tonks' estimation that the klutz gene was from the Tonks side of the family. He'd never known Sirius to be anything but graceful. 'I think it would have to be from Ted," Remus said, chewing on his lower lip. "Considering I grew up with the lot of them..." Remus shook his head. "I've never seen Draco fall on his face, nor any of the other Blacks for that matter. I think it's part of the Pureblood breeding," Remus said with a snort. "The gene is consequently inherited." He rolled his eyes to say just how much stock he put in the whole Pureblood and half-blood nonsense.
Oh that was right... Remus had vaguely remembered hearing something about Draco's child. Closing his eyes, Remus did the relationship tree in his head. "First cousin, once removed," he said at last. The amount of knowledge Remus had managed to amass over the years was slightly staggering. "I'd wait until you were better. Children can become ill quite easily, particularly a newborn. Though, if you wanted, I don't see why you couldn't send some note of congratulations if you were so inclined."
Taking advantage of the closing space between them, Remus closed the distance and pressed a kiss to her lips, pulling back only a hair's breadth. "Considering the fact that we are engaged, I'd say I'm quite happy with you just the way you are." And you're not the reason I'm afraid to tie the knot either. he added silently.
