Neville could tell that Millicent was understandably very upset that her little girl was so sick and nothing could be done - plus the fact being very pregnant didn't help much he could imagine.
He tried very hard to reassure Millicent that if it wasn't them who found something that could help, someone would. She turned away from him, after wishing someone would just do something. Although he didn't have any children of his own, he felt empathy for her. It couldn't be easy being away from Ella especially when she needed her mother - but he supposed the Healers were trying to protect Millicent and her unborn child.
She had turned and Neville watched carefully as she reeled slightly and lunged to try and help her if she needed it but she caught herself on the counter. "Alright then?" Neville didn't want her falling and injuring herself or the baby, but her determination to work and keep her mind of things was something he could understand. "We're going to find something.... I have no doubt." he said one last time, his eyebrows raised and a determined look in his eyes. "Don't pay any attention to those notices - someone just likes to be a hate monger."
Walking over to a tray of plants that he'd grown from seed, he brought them over towards Millicent and a small bit of earth where they were to be planted. "Here, these are Calendula ... I'm sure you've heard of them. Once you've gotten them planted, I have a spell to make them bloom immediately. The petals can be made into a tea to reduce fever... and can be pounded into an ointment to ease the muggle version of 'chicken pox'. I don't know if this is anything with what we're dealing with, but it couldn't hurt, could it?" Neville smiled kindly and placed a hand on Millicent's shoulder. "It's a short fix while we find out what will really help, best make the sufferers more comfortable yeah?"
