He was trying to calm her down, and logically she knew it couldn't be good for the baby to be this upset. But how couldn't she be? They were blaming Ella and Justin for something they were suffering as much from - if not more - than anyone else.
'It would help if they could figure out what it is they need!' she said instead, trying to focus on work. It was better than to focus on the anger welling up inside her. Or the rather powerful head ache that seemed to want to split her head.
