Susan wasn't weakened by whatever sickness everyone had, but she knew how heavy Cass could be. He seemed much too light, even as she suspected he leaned all his body weight against her. She tried not to show how worried she was. If he was sick enough not to complain, then she knew it had to be quite bad.
She simply nodded at his words about Percy, keeping her opinion to herself. She had seen the way he danced around Weasley in the office, and knew that Cass thought him a friend. Men were often stupid.
"Right," she said as the portkey was activated. "Take a deep breath." At least it would distract him as she held him close, activating the portkey. A firm tug behind her chest and a moment later they stood in the foyer of the Shack.
