Justin nodded. The potion seemed to be helping, and Ella calmed considerably within a few moments. He hated that she needed a potion at all to calm down, but then he looked down at her bloody pyjamas and was rather relieved that they were able to do something for her.
"Should I change her into something clean?" he asked. He should do it while she was awake. It went easier while she was able to help him. Summoning the bag that had her clean clothing, he dug out a night gown and helped her change. His movements slow and gentle as he eased her into the clean clothes.
Her sores looked horrible. Raw and oozing. He didn't bother to ask the Healer if she was going to be all right. Frankly, he didn't know that he wanted to hear what she had to say. Cradling her against his chest once again, he looked up at the healer. "Thank you."
The healer nodded and left. He glanced down at Ella, who's eyes were starting to flutter closed, and kissed the top of her head. "Did they go away, love?"
