Parvati settled the owl Draco had sent with the new bottle of potion. She'd run out of the one Anthony had left and she'd owled Draco that morning, asking him to handle making the potion because she didn't trust herself, it being so important to her. She was too tired, too exhausted to do a good job, and she needed it to be ther very best possible because it was for George.
He was quiet when she re-entered their room, even though it was almost time for his next dose. Settling next to the bed, she tried to rouse him so she could give him the potion, but she couldn't wake him.
Parvati set down the bottle on the bedside table and turned back to George, trying frantically to get him to respond. Her heart in her throat, she checked for a heartbeat, but she could still hear it when she listened against his chest, and he was still breathing. But he was definitely unconscious.
Terrified at the change, she hurried down to her owl, scribbling a note to Anthony. Then she went back up to George and sat by the bed, tears running down her face while she held his hand.
