Summary: Pansy has exhausted herself taking care of Harry during his illness. But every dark cloud has a silver lining....
After days of exhausting herself over Harry, Pansy was finally warm and comfortable and blissfully asleep. She had been feeding liquids to him, helping him sit up so they didn't spill. She had been trying to soothe him when he felt worse, singing to him to get his mind off his aches and to try to help him get to sleep. She'd rubbed his head with scented oils when the headache potions had proved ineffective. She'd even washed him with a wet rag and put anti-itch salve on his spots to keep them from itching.
She rather enjoyed doing those last two. Actually, she'd enjoyed more than just the last two....
But the strain of worrying about him since discovering none of the potions seemed to help and Madame Pomfrey was no closer to knowing what he had plus the lack of sleep because she wouldn't leave his bedside for longer than a half hour at a time was taking its toll on her. She'd fallen asleep in the chair with her head on his bed, and she didn't remember much since then.
There might have been something about 'going to bed' but she was far too comfortable to worry about it.
