Pointedly ignoring the red large red welts that were forming on her arms, legs, chest, and face, Dora reached for the quill laying on her bedside table. They were hard to ignore, especially given that one had just burst open from her constant scratching and a disgusting puss had oozed out, but she did her best. A headache pounded at the base of her skull and she'd had to cancel her classes that day, but she simply hadn't been able to make it up to the castle.
Dora grabbed for a spare piece of parchment, noting in the process that her hands were a bit shaky. Probably from that fever she was running.
Mum, Remus and I are fine. I've got a bit of a cold and a small headache, but that's really it. I doubt it's anything a few potions won't cure. I stayed home from classes today just to make sure I don't get the students sick, but you really shouldn't worry about me. I'm sure I'll be fine. Remus isn't sick at all, it seems. I figure I just must not be contagious.
You, on the other hand, you'll let me know if I need anything, won't you. And make sure you've all the potions and medicines you need. I'm horrible at potions, but I can bring some by if you need them, though I'm glad it's starting to get better.
