Emma leaned her head against his shoulder, turning it slightly to avoid the sensitive area around where she'd hit the door. Seamus carried her down the stairs, making sure she didn't hit the wall or bannister on the way down, though she wasn't sure how he did it.
She felt the change in temperature when he left the Inn, the air much cooler and crisper than when inside. Emma had to close her eyes tightly against the brighter light that threatened to send daggers into her head. She moaned softly.
