"Yeah, I noticed that," she said, remembering from when she was told to keep an eye on Seamus and Emma at the pub. The new girl had seemed a little lazy at the time, but if she had been coming down with this monstrosity of an illness, then it had been warranted. Daphne had only barely managed to remain on alert the whole time. "Maybe there's something about it in the Daily Prophet?"
That bit of information definitely helped her relax just a bit. Surely she wasn't the only one this sick. "Well, that's good news too."
Miles' knowing smirk told her that he understood, and her body grew less tense, her gaze softening. It wasn't that she hadn't thought of his rights over her son now that they were married, but she didn't think he would want the responsibility if anything were to happen. Well, that and she didn't want to even think about the possibility of a worst case scenario. However, as her condition seemed to be deteriorating, she didn't think she had a choice but to accept the idea.
She was surprised by his words, although whether he was just offering to find a place for her son out of her parent's influences, or if he was offering to take Nigel himself, she wasn't sure.
"I honestly don't know, either. I know that Dolohov said something about children in the contract, but I'm not sure if it only applied if we had any children together."
