Her hand brushed up against the side of his face, and her features relaxed a bit as her hand cupped his cheek. "Yeah, you are," she said, her eyes blinking a few times.
Daphne frowned when he asked her if....something...had helped. "I think it got...brighter? It's kind of like when someone turns the lights on, but your eyes are still shut."
Her face tried to pull into a grimace as she took the potion, the taste rather foul in her mouth. She had absolutely no idea what the potion would do, but she hoped that Miles was right and that she'd feel better tomorrow. "You think so?" she asked softly. She had been fine only a couple of days ago, and it seemed like most of her symptoms had hit her like a truck today. She hoped that it would go away as quickly as it came. If it continued to get worse at this speed - she shuddered at the thought.
At least her mind seemed a bit clearer at the moment, even if eyes didn't seem to be working and her body ached like something fierce.
"Is Nigel asleep?" she asked. She couldn't hear him crying, so she hoped that was the case.
