Susan nodded and gave a little smile. "It's okay." Her voice held no anger. "I do understand." She understood that he was living a lie, and now had to be so careful that he couldn't miss a heartbeat. That had to be a serious burden.
She put out a hand to cover his. "The big old hufflepuff will keep her mouth shut."
"Honestly, I would. I mean, I'd hate to see any of our children get mistreated." She gave a wink, letting him know she wasn't mad or angry, and seeing how he would react. "I believe that's part of being a responsible parent."
