Cass laughed. 'The day he actually managed to hex me is the day I should probably retire,' Cass said cockily, though of course he knew that Miles was fairly good with the hexes. Still, he was faster, better trained - he was sure of it.
When her tone nearly matched his in cheek, he grinned, leaning back. 'There is no need to sleep alone - ever - as far as I'm concerned. Just a waste of body heat and comfort.'
Really he didn't like being alone, the less he was alone the better.
